Happy New Year to all our members.

What do you wish for in 2024?

• I think we are in desperate need for a general election, but not sure if any of the other parties are up to the job.
• I personally need a period of good health, 2023 was a bad year for me health wise.
• I need to loosen up and be happy again. The past few years have got far too serious and I'm in need of some fun in life.
• I think we all need to gain some of the optimism we had in the 60's and 70's when the future looked bright and exciting.

A better year than 2023, lost both of our dogs one a rescue Bedlington Terrier and the other a 15 year old Cocker Spaniel, also lost my 20 year old beloved Mercedes Benz car in a non fault road collision and to top the year off in the early hours of December the 1st the wife suffered a massive drop in blood pressure and fell and cracked her hip and is still in hospital recovering.

Oh some one must have felt sorry for us as we won a tenner on the post code lottery , so we have had our fair share of 2023 and hope 2024 will be better for us.

At this moment I’m just after a decent nights sleep.

I will settle for slightly better health in 2024. Not that I am on death`s door or anything like that. But it would nice to be well enough to go away for a short holiday. Not been away since I retired over ten years ago.

I’m sick to death of the way some so called humans behave.
Probably why I love animals so much.

After what Welshhunk just said I would hope that we all survive 2024..

but I will hope for a year where I can go a couple of months without having some sort of Flu like symptoms..

Lidl to start selling the cheese twist in the bakery section again.

My caretaker to do some work.

A big lottery win.

Personally, I'd like to earn a few more bob, and work a fair bit less..

For the country, I'd like us a little less broken.

For the world... the same.
