working day

Just wondered with the adveny of academies and schools becoming busier what the average day entails now for a Site Manager. If you work with a team it would be intresting to know what/who is allocated to what?

Re: working day

37.5 hr per week
Primary school 400 children
Just Me
Mon - Turs 07:00 - 10:30 then 14:30 - 18:30
Fri 07:00 - 09:00 Work from home doing paperwork until 14:00 and then Lock up the School at 18:30.

SLT's are too scared to lock up so I have to do it, plus I know that the premises will be locked up properly.

Re: working day

36 hours per week with 25 days holiday not including 8 bank holidays.

Only me in a 2 form entry primary school with approx 460 pupils.

Split shift Monday to Friday 06.30 to 09.45 and 14.00 to 18.00

Holiday periods I do 08.00 to 17.30 (inc half an hour for lunch) over 4 days and take the Friday off.

I originally set my own hours but have had to alter to accommodate cleaning contractors.

Re: working day

Pretty much same as above, except ive been allowed to spilit my shift evenfuther due to living on site. I am a one man band but have 3 cleaners and a supportive BM.

Monday-Friday 6-10.30.........13.00-16.30.......18.30 come back to lockup

I do the caretaking duties, some cleaning, H and S, a lot of Admin, and some diy/maintenance (alot of it is outsourced to companies through the Council buyback scheme)
